URIEL™ — Cancellation
No contract. No commitment.
There is no contract term, no minimum period and no cancellation fee. URIEL is billed month to month and you decide each month whether to carry on. Last updated 17 October 2026.
How to cancel
Two ways to cancel.
You can cancel at any time:
- In the billing portal — sign in with your email and cancel your subscription there. No phone call, no retention conversation, no reason required.
- By email — write to info@youngethicalintelligence.com from the address on your account. We will action it and confirm in writing.
Cancelling is deliberately no harder than subscribing.
During the free trial
No subscription charge during the trial.
Cancel at any point in the seven days and you are not charged for the subscription at all. Access continues to the end of the trial.
If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the paid subscription begins and your payment method is charged.
After the trial
What happens to billing.
When you cancel, your subscription stops renewing at the end of the period you have already paid for. You keep access until that period ends, and you are not billed again.
Inside the first 14 days, you can change your mind. If you cancel within 14 days of first subscribing, we return the unused part of what you have paid, calculated by the day. This is a cooling-off period, not a refund policy — it exists once, at the start, and does not apply to any later month.
After the first 14 days, monthly payments are not refunded. The price is low, the term is a single month, and you can cancel at any time before the next renewal, so cancelling stops future billing rather than returning the current month.
The assessment suite
A one-time charge, handled separately.
The assessment suite is a one-time charge taken at purchase. It is charged per person and covers the administration of the instruments and a two-hour interpretation session delivered afterwards.
- Before the instruments are released and before the session is scheduled — the charge is returned in full.
- After the instruments are released but before the session — the cost of the instruments already supplied is retained; the balance attributable to the unheld session is returned.
- After the interpretation session has taken place — the service has been delivered and the charge is not returned.
Your statutory rights
What the law gives you, everywhere.
The 14-day cooling-off period above is offered to every customer, in every country. In the United Kingdom and the European Union it is a legal right for contracts made at a distance. In Canada, provincial consumer protection may give you similar or greater rights. We apply it everywhere because one policy is simpler than four.
Nothing in this Policy takes away a right you have under the law of the country where you live. If any part of it gives you less than your local consumer law requires — including the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 in the United Kingdom, or the consumer protection legislation of your province in Canada — then that law applies and this Policy gives way to it.
If something went wrong
A failed service is a different matter.
This Policy is about cancellation, not about a service that failed. If URIEL did not work, was unavailable, or was not as described, your statutory rights apply in full. Write to info@youngethicalintelligence.com and tell us what happened.
Deleting your account is separate from cancelling your subscription. Account deletion is described on the Data Protection & Governance page.
Billing questions: info@youngethicalintelligence.com. We would rather hear from you than see a chargeback.
