Leadership

The people accountable for what URIEL™ does.

Dr. D. Ivan Young

Founder and Originator of Recursive Judgment Science™

Dr. D. Ivan Young’s work sits at an unusually narrow intersection: the applied study of how artificial intelligence and human cognition interact to build resilience, self-advocacy, and adherence. His research on self-empathy as a trainable clinical skill has been accepted for presentation by the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, and his behavioural frameworks form the scientific foundation of URIEL.

He is a behavioural scientist and master-level practitioner whose applied research examines the neurobiology of judgment under pressure — the shift from limbic reactivity to deliberate prefrontal engagement — and how that shift can be trained rather than merely encouraged.

He is the originator of Recursive Judgment Science, Augmented NeuroSynthesis™, and the Recursive Human Systems Model™ — the constructs on which URIEL is built. More than twenty years in practice preceded them, working with clinicians, commanders, executives, and families at the point where judgment is hardest to hold. The behavioural work underneath has also been taught well outside institutions: his three TEDx talks have been viewed more than 4.9 million times.
